TECH: Use a digital camcorder to sight a rifle scope. Sighting in a rifle scope made easy using a camcorder to zoom a long distance target and make the proper adjustments to the rifle sights and scope. If you have ever tried this on the shooting rage , you know it is sometimes difficult to keep the target in the field of view. A digital camcorder on a tripod and attached to a laptop computer focused on the target, makes fine adjustments of the rifle scope more precise. Proper technique of 3 to 5 shots in between adjustments will insure whether the shooter or the gun is off. This digital camcorder is on a tripod zooming the area the size of a quarter @ aprox. 200 ft. This also works well on pellet rifles and airsoft guns / pistols.
