AMERICAN WOODCOCK IN HAND

Funny animals, AMERICAN WOODCOCK: The American woodcock (Scolopax minor) also called the timberdoodle, A SMALL BIRD,lives in young forest and shrubby areas often near streams, and wetlands, and is thought of as a shorebird species, although this funny little fellow is 36 miles inland. He showed up in my garage while having a barbecue, and even though i set the animal out doors several times he continued to come in. The bird did not seem agitated in the least, but made funny gestures at the camera.
