the plan for the drill press was to mount it to or on my 7x14, but the harbor freight 38142 proved to big for this, so I started looking at my logan 920 lathe, as a candidate to be a mill drill. Again the #38142 drill press base did not fit inside the chip pan for my 11" logan, bumming. The table on the appears to be large enough to possible hold a piece of steel that may act as a base plate for the minilathe to sit directly on the drill press table. stay tuned for more videos, more power tools.
