Hurricane Sandy on generator
Hurricane Sandy on generator: With in hours of the start of hurricane sandy we were on generator power. Our 10,000 watt generator supplied power to our entire house during the storm. In southern NH, many power outages were caused by "blow down" trees over power lines, having a back up generator added much comfort to the thought of going days with out power. I used a 240v 30a plug to feed my home electric service panel with 8ga cable, and an inter lock breaker. well wishes to all, and good luck with your new generator ;)
