LED vs HALOGEN Headlights TEST home made light bar. A side by side comparison test of cree led vs Halogen bulbs on a home made light bar. Better, brighter, whiter driving light using less energy from my charging system. 16 watt led headlights replace 55 watt plow frame / off road lights. The high power use of the halogen lights was kill my battery at anything but full throttle. By changing to the led bulbs, I got more light,can see better when plowing, and still charge my battery at part throttle.

The light bar is made with recycled bed frame rails welded together to raise the led light fixtures above the snow blower box height. The bar is held on with 2 very strong repurposed speaker magnets, making it easily removable when not needed. I installed three of these led lights 2 for driving, and one facing rear to see the blade.
